WHO IS THIS FOR? If you have been affected by trauma in your life, this 2-part course is for you. It doesn’t matter what or when the trauma was. Maybe you have tried to move on, forget what happened, bury it, but it comes back and troubles you at times? WHAT WILL I LEARN? Over the 2 sessions we will take you through a variety of evidence based PRACTICAL ways of coping better so that you can get on with your life and FLOURISH. This is a great follow on from our session “Understanding PTSD” covering what you can do to live a better quality of life despite what happened to you. The emphasis with this course is on guiding you to the practical things you can do that will be helpful. HOW CAN I USE WHAT I LEARN? You will be able to use the practical tips and strategies straight away. You will be asked to try some of them out between sessions and discuss what worked well. Learning from other students is always an important part of our courses and this course allows that to happen. You will leave full of ideas and hope for your future.
