Mindful Seated or Chair Yoga

Who is this for? This course is designed for any Stepping Stones student who would like to enjoy the benefits of yoga in a seated position or with the support of a chair. It is perfect for those with mobility issues or anyone who finds standing or getting up from the floor challenging, but it is also great for anyone looking for a gentle approach to yoga. What will I learn? In these sessions, we will modify traditional yoga poses so they can be done while seated or using a chair for balance. You will learn how to stretch, strengthen, and improve your flexibility without needing to stand. We will also focus on breathing techniques and mindfulness to help reduce stress and promote mental well-being. The session will be gentle, but you will still feel the benefits in both body and mind. Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring some water. No special equipment or previous experience is required. Please do not forget to bring some water too, as it is important to stay hydrated. How can I use what I learn? Seated or Chair yoga is a wonderful way to build strength, increase flexibility, and calm your mind, no matter what your mobility level. The techniques you will learn can help improve posture, reduce tension, and enhance your overall sense of well-being.
