Course / Workshop Content

Who is this for? This 2-part workshop is designed for anyone wishing to foster self-compassion and self-kindness, particularly if you tend to be self-critical, or feel emotional fatigue. It is ideal for anyone seeking to build resilience, manage stress, and improve their emotional well-being. What will I learn? In this workshop, you will gain a deep understanding of the principles and benefits of self-compassion, based on research about self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness as the three pillars of self-compassion. You will learn evidence-based techniques, including mindfulness practices and guided reflections, to help reduce self-criticism, manage stress, and build a foundation of self-kindness. We will also explore the importance of healthy boundary setting, effective self-forgiveness practices, and ways to balance compassion with personal strength. How can I apply what I learn? You will be encouraged to integrate self-compassion techniques into your daily life, such as through mindful self-talk, self-care routines, and establishing boundaries that support your mental health. By building these habits, you will strengthen your capacity for self-acceptance and develop practical tools to manage life’s challenges with greater emotional resilience, ultimately leading to improved well-being and reduced risk of burnout.
