Course / Workshop Content

Who is this for? This workshop is for anyone eager to deepen their understanding of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and learn effective ways to support themselves or others who are struggling with this. Whether you are directly affected, know someone who is, or simply wish to expand your knowledge, this workshop could help you. What will I learn? We will increase your knowledge of the condition known as PTSD, especially its causes, symptoms, and effects. We will explore the psychological and physiological dynamics of PTSD and help you acquire some effective skills to support yourself or anyone around you affected by it. How can I use what I learn? You will be able to identify signs and symptoms of distress and know what to do to make yourself or someone else feel better. You will be able to use your knowledge in everyday situations and know when you might need professional help and what resources are available to you. We hope you will also feel more confident in offering support and compassion to those affected by PTSD.
