Course / Workshop Content

Who is this for? This 2-part course is for anyone who might be experiencing bereavement and would like a safe, guided space to strengthen their coping strategies and explore ideas to process their grief. It may also suit those who are experiencing waves of grief and those who feel unsure about how to move forward while still honouring their loved one. What will I learn? We will look at a series of coping strategies to process emotions and move forward while still honouring a loved one. We will explore different ways to care for ourselves during grief by focusing on practical self-care and reflect on our values using these to take small steps to rebuild life alongside grief. Part one - Focuses on processing emotions through writing and journaling, building bonds with our deceased loved ones and exploring ways to process guilt and regrets Part 2 - Focuses on building our new identity, finding meaning in your lives and self-care practices that align with our values. How can I use what I learn? You will be able to use the exercises as “in-the-moment” support on difficult days and as weekly practices and leave with a personalised plan that you can return to whenever grief surges.
