Who is this for? As human beings we like to have routines and habits that make us feel safe and secure. Coping with change can be very difficult at times and it can compromise our wellbeing. This course is for anyone who finds it particularly hard to accept new situations and adapt to them. What will I learn? In this workshop we will look into ways to cope better with the changes that life brings upon us. We will explore our go to strategies and develop ways to make us more flexible to adapt to changes. We will explore our safety needs and the importance of meeting our needs to become more grounded in our experiences and find ways to practice acceptance of the difficult experiences and be open to the opportunities that life present us with when change comes along. How can I use what I learn? Students will be able to use the strategies learn into practice in their day to day life. From adapting to small changes to bigger changes. Change is part of life and we can always find opportunities to put strategies in practice every day. Techniques and strategies shown can be shared and discussed with friends and family in order to obtain a wider network of support for everyone
