WHO IS THIS FOR? This workshop is for anyone who struggles with the disorder or who supports others and wishes to learn more about it. It is for anyone who wants to understand and make sense of panic attacks and better support yourself or someone else through an episode of panic. WHAT WILL I LEARN? We will look into our nervous system, how it protects us and it keeps us safe but how it is sometimes unable to do so and misfires when under lots of pressure and stress. You will learn how this misfiring can cause extreme anxiety and panic attacks and what you can do to start calming it down. We will look into strategies to gain more control over anxiety and panic. HOW MIGHT I BE ABLE TO USE WHAT I LEARN? At the end of the workshop, you will be able to: identify what triggers your stress and anxiety to reduce them. understand the cycle of panic and support yourself to take the necessary steps to start breaking it. use strategies to help reduce, stress, anxiety and panic.
