Course / Workshop Content

In this interactive two-part course, you'll explore why change can feel challenging, understand your personal responses to uncertainty, and learn practical, evidence-based strategies to build resilience, confidence, and self-compassion. Through reflection, discussion, and interactive activities, you'll discover how to work with resistance, develop a healthier mindset towards change, and take meaningful steps forward. Supportive, insightful, and packed with tools you can use straight away. Who is this for? Change is a natural part of life, yet it can often feel uncomfortable, uncertain, or overwhelming. This interactive two-part course is for anyone who would like to better understand their reactions to change and develop practical skills to navigate life's transitions with greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion. Whether you're facing personal changes, workplace challenges, or supporting others through change, this course offers a supportive space to learn, reflect, and grow. What will I learn? Together, we'll explore why change can feel difficult for us as humans and the common emotional and psychological responses that arise when things shift. You'll have the opportunity to recognise your own patterns, understand how resistance to change develops, and identify the beliefs and habits that can keep us feeling stuck. Across the two sessions, we'll explore evidence-based approaches to adapting more effectively, including how our mindset, self-talk, and emotional responses influence our ability to embrace change. Through discussion, reflection, and practical exercises, you'll learn ways to reframe challenges, build psychological flexibility, develop self-compassion, and strengthen your confidence when facing uncertainty. There will also be opportunities to practise new skills, reflect on a current change in your own life, and create a personalised action plan to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence. How can I use what I will learn? You will leave with practical tools, strategies, and resources to help you respond to change more effectively in everyday life. Whether facing a major life transition or smaller day-to-day changes, you'll be better equipped to manage uncertainty, overcome resistance, and support yourself through the process of change.
