Course / Workshop Content

Who is this for? Festive or holiday seasons like Christmas, New Year, Easter and even the summer holidays can be challenging for some, particularly those who feel isolated or lack close family and friends. This Worksop is for anyone who struggles during these times and feels that their mental health suffers as a result. It is designed for anyone who would like support to manage the emotional difficulties that come with festive periods. What will I learn? In this workshop, we will explore the unique challenges that festivities can bring, particularly feelings of loneliness and disconnection. We will examine our circle of connection and learn self-compassion techniques to help us nurture ourselves during difficult times. Additionally, we will delve into the stages of grief and how they relate to festive periods, giving us a deeper understanding of our emotions and how to manage them. How can I use what I learn? Participants will gain practical tools to navigate the festive period with greater resilience. You will learn how to apply self-compassion and connect more deeply with yourself, making it easier to cope with loneliness or sadness. These strategies can be used not just during the holidays but in any challenging situation, helping you maintain your emotional wellbeing throughout the year. Additionally, the insight and techniques learnt can be shared with others, building a stronger support network within your community.
