Explore personality traits, self-awareness, and personal growth in this interactive 2-part course. Together we will look at how personality develops, how different traits can influence thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and relationships, and how greater understanding can support wellbeing and positive change. Taking a compassionate, strengths-based approach, we'll explore a range of personality styles—from everyday traits to more complex patterns that can impact wellbeing and relationships—while recognising the unique strengths, resilience, and potential for growth within everyone. Who is this for? This interactive 2-part course is designed for anyone interested in understanding personality traits, patterns of behaviour, and personal growth. Whether you identify with certain personality traits yourself, support someone with complex emotional or interpersonal difficulties, or simply want to improve self-awareness and relationships, this course offers a safe and supportive space for learning, reflection, and discussion. The course takes a compassionate, strengths-based approach that recognises both the challenges and positive qualities that can exist within different personality styles. What will I learn? Workshop 1: We will explore how personality develops and how different personality traits can influence the way people think, feel, relate, and respond to the world around them. We will also look at the background to personality disorders and emotional difficulties in a compassionate and non-judgemental way, considering factors such as life experiences, relationships, environment, and coping patterns. Workshop 2: This session focuses on personality growth, self-awareness, and positive relationships. Together we will explore how to build on personal strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, improve communication, and better understand different personality traits in ourselves and others. We will also discuss practical ways to create more positive and supportive interactions and relationships. How can I use what I learn? You can use what you learn to increase self-awareness, build confidence and empathy, improve communication and relationships, and better understand both your own behaviours and those of others. The course also offers practical strategies for personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and creating healthier interactions in everyday life.
