Course / Workshop Content
Who is this for? This workshop is for anyone who struggles with a phobia that has an impact on their daily life and wants to learn how to gain control over the fear and take charge again. It's also helpful for those who support someone with a phobia and want to better understand how to help. What will I learn? Do you avoid certain places, objects, or situations because of intense fear? You’re not alone. This 2-hour workshop offers a safe and supportive space to learn what’s going on in the brain when a phobia develops, and why it can feel so overwhelming. We’ll explore how phobias form, what keeps them going, and, most importantly, practical ways to begin taking back control. Whether your fear is big or small, this session will provide helpful tools, gentle strategies, and reassuring insights to help you understand your phobia — and support yourself through it. How can I use what I learn? You’ll leave the session with practical strategies you can use in your daily life to feel more in control of your fear. From calming your body in moments of panic to slowly building confidence around your phobia, you'll have a toolbox of evidence-based techniques to support your progress — at your own pace
