Course / Workshop Content
A 2-hour workshop offering space to explore, understand, and talk openly about thoughts of suicide — with compassion, honesty, and hope. Who is this for? This workshop is for anyone who: • Has experienced thoughts of suicide, past or present • Wants to better understand these feelings in themselves or others • Works with, supports, or cares for people who may be struggling Together, we’ll create a safe, reflective space where difficult topics can be approached with care, understanding, and hope. What will I learn? We will explore: • Common emotional and psychological roots of suicidal thoughts • How hopelessness and disconnection can develop — and how they can begin to shift • The role of compassion, listening, and connection in staying safe and finding support • Ways to talk about suicide safely and openly — for yourself or with others • Where to find help and what supports are available locally and nationally How can I use what I learn? You will leave with a clearer understanding of why suicidal thoughts can arise and how to respond with compassion — for yourself or someone you care about. You will also know where to find further help and how to take small, hopeful steps toward safety, healing, and connection.
