Course / Workshop Content

Who is this course for? This 2 - part workshop is for anyone who wants to explore practical ways to reconnect with their identity and align their choices and decisions based on what is truly important to them in life. It could be helpful if you’re dealing with stress, low mood, anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or feeling like you’re ‘going through the motions’. It’s equally relevant if you want better decision-making, clearer boundaries, or more consistency with what matters most to you. What will I learn? You'll learn about how to define your values and how they can give you clear directions, and how they differ from goals. In part 1 – We will explore how values connect to wellbeing, identity, self-respect, and recovery, and guide you through identifying your own core values and what they mean to you, in your own words. In part 2 – We will focus on noticing your common 'off-course' patterns, like avoidance, people-pleasing, fear, or overwhelm, without shame and self-criticism. You'll also develop practical language for communicating boundaries and needs in a values-consistent way. How can I use what I learn? You'll leave with a visible 'Values Compass' that you can refer to when making decisions and a weekly values-alignment check-in to track your progress, without feeling the need for perfectionism. You'll also have a personal action plan with some small steps outlined for each of your values, and some 'if–then' plans for likely obstacles, to make follow-through easier in real life.
