Duncan is our facilitator for our course, Building Confidence and Managing Relationships.

BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS

Roles undertaken have been in line management, personnel and training in the UK and overseas (Germany, Cyprus, Norway,Saudi Arabia). Duncan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel andDevelopment, and an MBA from Henley Management College. He is accredited to use Myers-Briggs, Team Management Systems and Strength Deployment Inventory psychometric instruments. Particular areas of interest include leadership and team building.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Duncan has worked in the area of people development for over fifteen years, including:

• Course Director of Leadership, Team building, Harassment and Mid-Career

  Development courses at the Civil Service College.

• Performance management programme for senior civil servants in

  Indonesia.

• Leadership and performance management programmes for senior civil

  servants in South Africa.

• Management skills for the Croatia Mission of the Organisation for Security

  and Co operation in Europe.

• Advanced consultancy skills for Oracle Software.

• Leadership programmes for the board and senior management of the

  Child Support Agency.

• Leadership programme for Thames Valley Police

PERSONAL INTERESTS

I am a volunteer with Daisy's Dream (a children's bereavement charity), enjoy watching sport and babysitting my granddaughter. 

He has undertaken assignment for a range of government departments

including the Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Office, FCO, Defra, MOD,

DWP and DCMS.
