My name is Sarah; I have been attending stepping stones for 3 years now. I lived in Bracknell for 5 years and had no friends or anything in my life for me. I was signposted to stepping stones, the word college frightened me as you think of a normal college but it’s not like that at all.
I was advised by the lovely friendly team on what courses that will suit me to help myself gain the tools I needed in my life for my mental health. The college offers so many new courses with a varied range.
Stepping Stones have now launched Young Adults which run courses for people aged 16 – 25 years old.
Stepping stones listen to their students and that has helped the college to grow and become what it is.
2 years ago, I became a volunteer at stepping stones, as I wanted to help other students and give back. I am so glad as it helped me from a very dark black hole with my life and mental health.
Stepping stones is a friendly safe space, helpful, relaxing, non-judgemental and understanding and is a great place to make new friends.
